GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Please note that Consular authorities may require supplementary or additional documents where deemed necessary.
Applications for studies can be submitted at the Consular Office of the Argentine Republic in the place of residence of the foreign national.
FEES:
Short term (less than 365 days): 150 USD
Long termn (+365 days): 250 USD
1. Original Passport: must be valid for a minimum of six (6) months from the intended date of entry and have at least two (2) completely free pages left, for the Consular visa stamp and Argentina’s Migration entry & exit stamps. Photo copy of passport (1st and last page, valid or recently expired Visas).
2. SHORT TERM.Three (3) current 4 x 4 cm photographs, facing the camera, printed in color, on a white background. LONG TERM VISA requires 3 (three) colour photos, 4x4 cm, sky blue background right profile.
3. Visa application form filled out (preferably in electronic format) and signed by the applicant.
4. A letter explaining the purpose of trip with all the details of course/duration etc. Duly notarized and translated to Spanish language.
5. Program of study in English and Spanish Language.
6. Electronic filing of the student data (Pre-carga de datos electronicos) by the educational institution in the National Directorate of Migration or “Permiso de Ingreso” Entry Permit issued by DNM.
7. The educational institution must be duly registered with the National Registry of Petitioners on behalf of Foreign Applicants of Argentina (RENURE) and have their inscription number. If the host is not registered with RENURE, please to complete the registration.
8. If possible, a Letter of Inviatation from the inviting Institution in Argentina that mentions the terms of the agreements that leads to you spending the time of your course in Argentina, as well as that if the receiving institution will provide you lodging in Argentina.
The invitation letter must follow the guildelines stipulated in the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina.
Have in mind that the invitation can be processed through the TAD system (Trámites a Distancia) or in paper format.

9. Proof of sufficient funds to cover stay and study expenses (consular authorities may request copies of bank account statements, credit card statements, or other) Students can present Bank statements of their parents with Income proof like salary slips for last 3 months and ITR for last 3 years along with the affidavit of support signed by the parents/guardians who will bear the expenses. (Affidavit also need to be notarized and translated to spanish).
10. In the case of travellers aged 16 or older travelling for a period exceeding 6 (six) months, an apostilled or legalized certificate of good conduct issued by the competent authority of the countries where they resided for more than one year over the previous three years (duly translated to Spanish language).
11. A letter from current University/Employer if you are going for Student Exchange or Non Formal Studies or on Scholarships, it has to be duly notarized and translated to Spanish language.
12. Payment of consular fee: 150 US dollars for less than 365 days and 250 US dollars for long term. The fee must be paid in the local currency of the Representation.
13. Flight and accommodations reservations.
14. If the student is a minor, authorization by both parents in order to apply for the visa and the name of the tutor responsible in Argentina.
15. Copy of passport & valid/latest visas (if any).
16. Educational documents apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs, and its translation into Spanish (by an authorized entity). The translation should be correspondingly certified.
