GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS:
This type of visa is for new employment contract, between an Indian national and a company in Argentina.
Proceedings to apply for a TEMPORARY WORK VISA are initiated before the Argentine immigration authority (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones. Dirección de Admisión de Extranjeros, Av. Antártida Argentina 1355, Edificio 4, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires 1104, Argentina, tel.: (54-11) 4312-8661/9).
The applicant needs to obtain an Entry Permit (Permiso de Ingreso) from the DNM.
Please note that requests can be submitted by a representative of the company in Argentina to the issuing authority.
After the hiring company submits all the necessary documentation required by DNM, and pays there the corresponding fee, the DNM will issue an "Acta de Notification" (which certifies the proceedings done).
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
NOTE: Once proceedings before the DNM are concluded and the Entry Permit has been issued, what the applicant needs to bring to the Embassy to obtain the temporary work visa is:
1. A copy of the "Acta de notificación" issued by DNM
2. The employment contract CERTIFIED by a public notary AND attested by the Argentine Notaries Association (Colegio de Escribanos), signed by the hiring company.
The applicant will sign such contract before the Chief of the Consular Section.

3. In case employed, A letter from the employer confirming that the applicant is currently employed at the company and is going to work in Argentina for a parent, affiliate, subsidiary or branch office of your local employer. The letter must be written on company letter-head paper, duly signed by the person in charge accompanied by the last 3 months' salary/pay-slip and last 3 year's Income Tax Return -ITR (It needs to be notarized and translated to Spanish language).
4. Visa application form: All questions must be answered and the form must be signed by the applicant. Incomplete or incorrect forms will not be accepted.
5. Passport: must be valid for one year from the intended date of entry and have at least one completely free page left for the visa.
6. Recent passport style photographs (2 nos.): 4cm x 4cm, white background, front profile, (2 nos.): 4cm x 4cm, sky blue background, right profile.
7. Original police clearance certificate issued by the authorities of the countries where the applicant has resided for a period exceeding one (1) year, during the course of the last three (3) years, apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs if applicable. In India, the competent authority is the Regional Passport Office, and its translation into Spanish (by an authorized entity).
8. Copy of passport & valid/latest visas (if any)
9. Reservation of flight tickets and hotel/proof of accommodation as planned.
IMPORTANT: If the employee is moving to Argentina with his/her spouse and/or children, each dependent must produce the following materials, completed, signed, authenticated and translated as necessary:
1) Passport;
2) Application form;
3) four photographs;
4) Entry Permit;
5) Birth certificate;
6) Police records (dependents who are 18 years of age or older only);
7) Affidavit (dependents who are 18 years of age or older only) to be completed at the Consulate; 8) Parental consent form to travel and to live temporarily in Argentina (dependents who are under 18 years of age only) must be completed and signed by both parents and notarized. The signature of the notary public must be authenticated by the “Apostille”.
