On 18 December 2025, H.E. Ambassador Mariano A. Caucino, together with the Agricultural Attaché, welcomed the Indian Vegetable Oil Producers Association (IVPA) to discuss the future of vegetable oil trade between India and Argentina, the increase in sunflower cultivation in Argentina, and the reduction of export duties on agricultural commodities. India is the main destination for Argentine soybean and sunflower oils, and Argentina has become the second largest supplier of vegetable oils to India.
