The Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship of the Argentine Republic, along with the National Secretariat of Culture of the Argentine Republic and the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade (AAICI), are announcing an Open Competition for Preliminary Projects in the field of Visual Arts. The competition will select a work that will represent Argentina at the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale 2026 and it will be exhibited in the Argentine Pavilion in Venice, Italy.

 

The curatorial theme for the biennale, proposed by General Curator Koyo Kouoh, is: In Minor Keys.

 

Preliminary projects can be submitted until September 25, 2025.
